Lean + Green with Certified Health Coach, Sherrie Castellano | @withfoodandlove

How does Lean + Green work?

A week before the program starts your welcome packet will arrive in your inbox. This contains all the information you need on how to properly prepare for the program. Every Saturday morning during the program you’ll get a new packet of handouts and seasonally inspired recipes delivered right to your inbox. This is an accumulative program and the information, resources and recipes will progress accordingly.

You’ll receive {1} 45 minute, in-depth health coaching session with me. During this session we’ll chat about your current health status + eating habits. We’ll set your program intentions and create a personal plan to help achieve your goals. This is your opportunity to ask me everything and anything! Sessions are held the first week of the program via Skype, FaceTime, in-person or over the phone.

Each member will be invited to join the private and super confidential Lean + Green | January group. Think of this group as your own special little club, a safe place to vent your struggles, share your goals, celebrate your triumphs and feel accounted for. The group’s settings are set to the highest level of privacy. I monitor the group daily by answering each and every question you have. I use the group page to send out positive vibes, inspiration and facilitate group discussions. Participation in this group is totally optional, however I’ve found that this resource is an integral part of my client’s Lean + Green experience.

For an investment of $185 you’ll receive the following:

Some common questions are…

Do I have to live in United States?

You do not! The beauty of this program is that we can work together and you can live anywhere in the world.

Do you accept payment plans?

Yes!

Will I be hungry?

Definitely not. This program aims to get more nutrient dense foods in your body than ever before. With over 100 plant-based recipes to choose from, you will never go hungry. You will feast upon roasted vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, nuts, seeds, legumes, fresh green juices, smoothies, soups, stews, slow-cooker meals, grain bowls, healthy sweet treats and more!

Do I need a juicer?

No. But if you’d like to purchase one, I recommend getting yourself the Breville 5 Speed Juice Fountain, it is the one I own and it’s worth every penny. For its value and affordability, it’s especially great as your first juicer purchase. However, owning a blender is essential. This is the Blendtec I use. But, any blender will do the trick, it really doesn’t have to be fancy – I also own this little baby Bella Blender and use it all the time.

What foods are off limits?

During our 21 days together we will focus on the foods you can eat instead of the ones that are restricted. But technically – you’ll say goodbye to all animal foods {meat, dairy + eggs} and heavily processed foods while limiting your caffeine, sugar and alcohol intake.

If I’m not going to eat meat how will I get enough protein?

By eating a well-balanced, nutrient-dense, whole foods diet, rich in dark leafy greens, beans, legumes + whole grains, you shouldn’t have a problem reaching your daily recommended amount. The CDC recommends the average adult woman needs just 45 grams and the average adult man needs just 55 grams a day. Most adults are easily consuming two or three times that amount! Ample amounts of protein are thriving in whole, natural plant-based foods.

Do I need a Facebook account to enroll?

No, participation in the Facebook group is optional. However I find my clients are more successful and engaged when they are participating in the group sharing and discussion.

How do I get started?

Spots are limited send me an email me at: sherrie[at]withfoodandlove[dot]com or contact me now right away to get started.

What are my clients saying?

“Sherrie is a constant and thoughtful encouragement, and in that short time she gave a lot of great tools to help me stop and think about not only what I am eating, but why I am eating it. While my healthy eating is constantly in flux, I’ve found myself going back to recipes and handouts from this program when I need to refocus. There are also a few things Sherrie spoke to me over the phone that were so helpful to my personal food struggles and they have really inspired me make better choices in my daily life.” – Sarah, The Vanilla Bean Blog in Minneapolis, MN

“Sherrie really gets to know you and your individual needs. She thinks outside the box and gave me many great suggestions to improve my daily nutrition…not just what to eat, but when, how much and how not to feel hungry all the time and so much more. I learned so much from her – I lost a few pounds, my headaches went away completely and I learned my body is so much happier without dairy. I cannot recommend Sherrie more enough.” – Kelly, Nosh and Nourish in Pine, CO

“Working with Sherrie was a gift. I really needed a reboot and a good friend recommended that I give the Lean and Green program a try. I never felt deprived, just energized and nourished. She made it easy to try new things and provided a lot of valuable support and information, without judgement. She understands the journey to optimal health and inspires me to continue on this path.” – Bree, Baked Bree in Falmouth, MA

“I found With Food + Love by browsing Philadelphia Magazine’s Be Well Philly Best of 2014 list. And while checking out her recipes and blog, I ended up enrolling in her Lean + Green program. It completely changed my life. While already a relatively healthy person, I needed something to give me more energy and help me stock my pantry with healthier food choices. Sherrie makes the program accessible to all and what I love is that I ended up actually saving money on food! Since participating in Lean + Green I have set personal bests on my marathon, half marathon, five miler, and 5k times! Sherrie has even inspired me to become a health coach myself. I will start school at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2015.” – Jenn, 11th grade teacher in Conshohocken, PA

“There were many times while doing this program that I forgot that I was working with a trained and formally educated professional – for all good reasons…I attribute that feeling to the fact that Sherrie makes you feel like you’re one of her friends {not a client}. And then you read the program materials and the well curated menu and you’re reminded of just how good she is at what she does. Sherrie’s holistic approach to nutrition was just what I needed. I knew what I should and shouldn’t be doing to improve my health, but that just didn’t do it. Sherrie pushed me {ever so gently} to do a little soul searching to find the real reasons behind my food issues. And in doing so, helped me to gain control of food.” – Deneen, food enthusiast in Canton, OH

“When I found Sherrie I had just been told I had tons of food allergies and I was relying highly on caffeine and sugar to make it through the day. I came to her program a complex mess. Sherrie listened and guided me, but most of all made me feel like I wasn’t crazy with all my health issues. Her program helped me kick some bad habits and slow down, I lost a little weight during the program but gained knowledge and new recipes and strength. She’s awesome and I’m blessed to have found her!” – Jessica, therapist in Knoxville, TN

“Sherrie helped me remember the things I knew I should be doing and taught me so much more about what else I could do to be my happiest, healthiest self. Her 3 week program was the perfect amount of time to jump-start good habits and put myself on the right track. She is the reason my boyfriend is 40 pounds lighter this year and that I cook meatless and dairy-free most nights of the week. We are going to live longer lives and pass along healthy habits to our kids {someday}.” – Amanda, content strategist in Philadelphia, PA

“The best $185 dollars I’ve ever spent on myself.” – Lauren, blogger at Healthy Delicious in Albany, NY
