Coffee.

And lemonade.

Or in this case.

Espresso.

And naturally sweetened lemon juice.

It is a beautiful flavor combination.

I guess iced coffee lemonade is already a thing. Although I’ve never seen it on any menu. Or had it anywhere other than my own kitchen. But I Googled it. And it’s definitely a drink people are having. And for good reason. Because it’s freaking delicious.

Some sources say it has Swedish roots. Some say it’s a off-menu drink at Starbucks. I don’t really know. But I know one thing for sure and that’s coffee and lemonade is pure heaven together. Iced coffee lemonade is surprisingly refreshing. And it isn’t too strong or too acidic. Lightly sweetened with stevia, or you can sweeten it with whatever you prefer – sugar/maple/honey – and it is just right.

I have to admit that I do have a little bit of an espresso habit going on right now. Because I just started using a Nespresso machine. You guys. Creamy, rich espresso in a matter of seconds anytime I want it with Gourmesso’s Nespresso compatible capsules. It’s not the most green habit in the world, so I also purchased some of these sustainable and refillable pods.

So, I will definitely be drinking this iced coffee lemonade all spring. And all summer long. And it is definitely going on the menu at, Of All The Places I Call Home. My new dinner series taking place every last Thursday starting in April. St. Louis readers and friends and family – I’m super excited to announce that tickets will go on sale in the next few days.

These dinners will be similar to past events, where the menu will be four-courses. And the environment will be comfortable and set with good vibes. But, dinner service will run more like a restaurant experience. You will be able to add a la carte items to your meal, and order off a robust drink menu with plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. There will also be an option to sit communally {like previous meals} or privately with just your people.

Historically my past dinner events have sold out real quickly. So I have added a second dinner slot. You will be able to purchase tickets for either a 5:30 or 7:30 seating. And as always, I happy oblige to accommodate all dietary restrictions. Tickets will be released first to my newsletter subscribers and then to the general public twenty-four hours later. To be the first to get dibs get on this list.

Omg, the new additions to your events – a la carte things and options for communal or private seating, so rad! Happy for you, girl. And love the name of it. I’ve never had coffee and lemonade together, but now seems like a good time to try.

I first had this at Dunn Brother’s on a special summer menu a couple of years ago and I’m hooked! Now that it’s not on the menu anymore I get very strange looks when I go in and order a half cold press/half lemonade.

Haha yeah, I have gotten a mixed response to this recipe. Either people think it sounds strange – or they think it sounds delicious. But really, you gotta just try it to believe it. Now you can make your own, Robin – enjoy! xo
