How to make creamy garlic tahini sauce.
Making this garlic tahini sauce couldn’t be easier. Add the tahini, garlic, lemon juice, milk (your preference of kind), salt and pepper to a blender and process until it’s super smooth and creamy. That’s it. That’s all it takes.
If you don’t want to take out your blender, or you don’t have one on hand – you can easily prepare this in a mixing bowl with a whisk and a little elbow grease. Simply combine all of the ingredients and mix until, you guessed it – it’s super smooth and creamy.
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (see notes)
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Combine the tahini, garlic, lemon juice, milk, salt and pepper in a blender and process until smooth.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- If desired, serve with Strong Roots Mixed Root Vegetable Fries (make according to package instructions).
You can use any unsweetened, unflavored plant-based milk or dairy milk in place of the almond milk.
